We must ask you about your Stash!

Let’s face it – we all have our fabric stash.  We will discuss this again and again.  I am unapologetic for mine – it is part of who I am as a creative person.  You never know when you will need that 6″ strip of fabric from 1978.  It’s really really really important to keep it,  just in case.

 QT fabric stash…stock-pile…ummm hoard?

Here’s some of our QT stash… I was thinking that we should all take pictures of our “stash” and put the hashtag #MustAddtomyStash  Don’t forget to include #quiltingtreasuresfabrics Facebook is always a great way to show your stuff too!  Post a picture to our wall and/or tag us!

I still have fabric that is untouched in my “organized” plastic drawers, just screaming to be used.   Why do we do that?  For me, I know it’s because I want to be hit by the epiphany truck… just the right project for the right time…  You never know!

Having said that, here is the first of an ongoing theme to feature for our blog “Must Add to my Stash”  Take a peek, these collections are hitting the stores in September and will be a nice addition to your stash 😉

What do you think?… Must add to your stash??? It's a Ruff Life

If I want to calm down, I’ll buy some fabric, get a pattern, shut myself in a room and stay there for days, really happy. And at the end of it, you get a bedspread or some curtains or something to wear – it’s lovely.     Twiggy

Until next time…Use QT to create something that is fabulous…something fantastic… something FABTASTIC!

  1. A stash is so important and having that huge selection of fabrics to chose from is so much fun. You are correct in that we must always add to our stash…it is all part of the fun! Thanks for sharing your superb stash and when I can I will post a picture or two of my stash….it is rather strung out and stored in about every room of our home. LOL. Have a fabulous creative day!

  2. Love the ombre dot. I have half yard cuts of each of the colors. Any suggestions for a quilt pattern using them. Love the fabric and don’t want to waste it.
