Long May She Wave… Happy President’s Day!

We are proud to be Americans and at this time of year, we have President’s Day as a national holiday to celebrate our country’s history and honor our forefathers!

February 22 is George Washington’s birthday – our first President of the United States and an icon of our American history.  What better way to salute our presidents than with this patriotic collection, “Long May She Wave” by Ivy Lane for QT.  The flags are depicted in a panel that reflects the stages of our country’s progress.  This is a  great tribute to our country’s history.

Here are a couple of pictures showing our fabric in front of the historic waterfall at our old mill building.  We love to go take a stroll over to it when we have a chance!  Great photo op!

Whenever I think of Presidents, I think of this little cutie, Macey!  She is sassy, smart and passionate (all at the age of 5!)… a perfect combination for a future president (let’s hope)  She happens to love learning and knows a lot about our Presidential history.  Enjoy this cute clip of her on the Ellen show!

Our company has been in existence since 1807 – Thomas Jefferson was President at the time we started.  How amazing is that?  I am excited to see what our future holds!
